Not too late to get Collector’s Edition Cataclysm!

I have collector’s for Burning Crusade and for Wrath of the Lich King… but somehow I got busy this year and it slipped my mind, so when I found out Gamestop had stopped letting you pre-order collectors I was pretty upset.  Not that I don’t love the idea of just getting the download and not having to go anywhere, but… I like all the extra stuff you get in that fancy box!

World of Warcraft: Cataclysm - Collector's Edition - Mac/WindowsAnyway good news!  You can still get collector’s at Best Buy! The down side is you have to pay for it all upfront, but the up-side is that most Best Buys are doing midnight release.  You’ll have to call your specific store to know for sure.  So basically, buy it online, choose in-store pickup, show up at midnight (or the next morning) and you’re good to go :)

  1. I preordered two CEs just this past Sunday from Best Buy. If you’re a member of their gamers club (free to join), you get 500 bonus points per game, up to 3. That’s 10 rewardzone dollars!

And if you just search for cataclysm on their site, it should bring you to a special cata page… There you can find a drop-down list of stores having a midnight release. Can’t wait :D

  2. We’ve got a Best Buy right up the road…good to know on the Free Gamers Club deal…did not know about that…thanks!

  3. I was lucky that my ‘friend’ at the local Gamestop was paying attention and gave me a call regarding the Collector’s Edition. Apparently, Blizzard only allowed GS to make reserves on one day – and one day only. Weird. Anyway, I’m glad people can still get it through Best Buy :)

  4. Ok -Pre-Oredred the Collection from Best Buy.. It is Dec 12 – I still do not have it!! Oh well.. i guess. Very frustrating when I was suppose to be one of the healers for our teams. I have been replaced.
